Members of the Asher Tribe of The Maker’s House Chapel International paid a surprise visit to the Asaase Breakfast Show, presenting gifts and expressing appreciation for the programme’s consistent support and engagement.
The delegation, led by Rev Steve Antwi and accompanied by lawyer Isaac Opandoh, described the gesture as part of efforts to celebrate partnerships and show gratitude during the month-long Asher Tribe activities.
Speaking during the visit, Rev Antwi said the church community had closely followed the show’s interactions and felt compelled to formally acknowledge the team’s impact.
“The whole Maker’s House Chapel International has heard about you and we are all grateful. We are here to say a big thank you,” he said.
The Asher Tribe—representing members of the church born in April—forms part of a broader structure within the church based on the 12 tribes of Israel, a concept introduced by the church’s leadership to foster identity and community engagement among congregants.
Isaac Opandoh also used the opportunity to commend the Asaase team for creating a platform that extends beyond broadcasting, highlighting acts of kindness and recognition.
“We want to say a very big thank you… for the opportunities given to us to also be a blessing to others,” he said.
As part of the visit, the group presented a symbolic communion and breakfast package to the show’s team, describing it as a token of appreciation for the “love” and visibility extended to the Asher community.
The delegation further extended an invitation to the public—particularly individuals born in April—to attend the Asher Connect service scheduled for Sunday at the church’s premises near the School of Nuclear and Allied Sciences on the Kwabenya Road.
Service organisers said the event would begin at 8:00 a.m., followed by a special Asher Connect session later in the day.
The visit concluded with renewed expressions of gratitude and a commitment to continued collaboration between the church community and the media platform.
