NPP Germany branch member Kofi Okantah declares bid for secretary position

A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Germany branch, Kofi Okantah, has announced his intention to contest for the position of branch secretary, pledging to strengthen internal organisation and communication.

Okantah, who has served in several roles within the party’s diaspora structure, said his decision is driven by a commitment to improve coordination, record-keeping and unity within the branch.

“I am ready to serve with humility, loyalty, transparency and dedication,” he told atlanticafricanews.com/ as he seeks the support of members ahead of the internal election.

Okantah has previously held positions including Branch IT Director, Secretary of the Saarland Chapter and Youth Organiser at the chapter level, as well as serving on various committees such as education, welfare and international conference planning.

He said these roles have equipped him with practical experience in administration, youth mobilisation and programme execution within the party.

He is campaigning on a platform focused on strengthening communication channels, ensuring proper documentation of party activities and supporting collaboration among branch and chapter executives.

“The strength of the party begins at the branch level,” he said, adding that discipline, transparency and unity would guide his leadership approach.

Okantah has also participated in international political engagements, including conferences organised by the International Democrat Union in the United States and Belgium, as well as the Berlin Campaign Conference, which he said have shaped his understanding of political organisation and strategy.

He outlined his vision of building “a well-organised, united and active” NPP Germany branch, with improved coordination and inclusive participation of members.

The NPP Germany Branch forms part of the party’s external structures, which play a role in mobilising support and engaging Ghanaian diaspora communities.
