The Municipal Chief Executive for New Juaben South in the Eastern Region, Ransford Owusu Boakye, has commissioned a mechanised borehole facility at Mile 50 to address the water needs of the community.
This marks the 12th mechanised borehole facility constructed and commissioned by the MCE since he assumed office in 2025, underscoring his administration’s commitment to improving access to potable water.
Speaking at a brief ceremony, Boakye emphasised that the ongoing construction of mechanised boreholes across communities and market areas within the municipality forms part of a broader strategy to ensure reliable and clean water supply for residents.
“I am grateful to the elders of Mile 50 for their support and cooperation, and I also appreciate the dedication of the team at the New Juaben South Municipal Assembly. Together, we will continue to deliver practical solutions that improve the lives of our people,” he stated.
