The government has announced a series of Thai-funded scholarships and training opportunities for public sector workers for the 2026/2027 academic year, the Ghana Scholarships Authority said on Friday.
In a statement signed by Director-General Alex Kwaku Asafo-Agyei, the Authority said the programmes, supported by the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA), aim to strengthen international development cooperation while equipping participants with advanced skills in strategic sectors.
The scholarships are specifically open to Ghanaian public sector employees who are officially nominated by their employing government institutions. Nominees must also meet health requirements to qualify, the statement added.
“Prospective candidates must be nominated by their respective employing government agencies,” the statement said, noting that all services provided by the Secretariat are free and no third parties are involved in the application process.
Interested applicants have been directed to the official Ghana Scholarships Authority website for details on courses, application procedures, and submission requirements.
