Former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia secured a decisive victory at the New Patriotic Party (NPP) headquarters polling station in the party’s ongoing presidential primary, polling 308 votes.
Kennedy Agyapong followed with 160 votes, while Dr Bryan Acheampong and Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum each obtained three votes. Kwabena Agyei Agyapong secured seven votes.
Out of 997 expected voters, 481 valid ballots were cast, with one ballot rejected.
The vote forms part of the NPP’s nationwide primary to elect its flagbearer ahead of the 2028 general elections.
