The Ghana TVET Service has rejected claims of food supply challenges in Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) institutions, assuring the public that operations remain stable.
In a statement, the Service said students continue to receive meals as scheduled, while teaching and learning activities are proceeding without interruption across all institutions.
It explained that the decentralisation of food procurement to school authorities is functioning effectively, allowing heads of institutions to make timely and context-specific decisions.
According to the Service, there have been no formal reports of food shortages, with school management teams maintaining smooth operations under the current system.
The statement added that ongoing collaboration with the Ministry of Education and other agencies is helping to strengthen coordination and improve service delivery.
The Ghana TVET Service also emphasised its commitment to maintaining high standards in skills training while safeguarding the welfare of students.
It assured the public that TVET institutions remain fully operational and focused on delivering uninterrupted education.
