Former Little Mix singer Jesy Nelson has appealed to the public after her car, which contained essential hospital equipment for her twin daughters, was stolen from her home in Essex.
The 34-year-old said the black Land Rover Defender was taken from her driveway in Brentwood at about 03:00 BST on Sunday.
Nelson said the vehicle contained medical equipment needed for her twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe, who have been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), a condition that causes progressive muscle weakness.
In a post on Instagram, she offered a £10,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of the car, urging anyone with details to contact her or the police.
She also shared the vehicle’s registration number, saying the loss was distressing given the urgent medical needs of her children.
The singer has previously spoken openly about her daughters’ condition and has been campaigning for earlier newborn screening for SMA in the UK.
In April, she welcomed plans to introduce nationwide screening from October 2026 and has since supported a petition calling for it to be included in routine newborn blood tests.
Nelson, who rose to fame after winning The X Factor in 2011 as part of the girl group Little Mix, has received widespread public support since making the appeal.
Essex Police said it could not comment on the reported theft at this stage.
