Ghanaian dancehall artiste Stonebwoy has disclosed how an unexpected encounter in Nigeria led to him receiving a brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser V8 from a Lebanese businessman.
Speaking in an interview, the musician said the incident occurred during a visit to Nigeria when he stepped out of his hotel room and met a businessman identified as Rai.
According to him, what began as a casual conversation developed into a longer interaction that attracted others and evolved into an informal gathering.
During the discussion, Stonebwoy said he shared a personal experience of having to sell two of his vehicles, including a Land Cruiser V8 and a Range Rover, to finance one of his concerts.
He said the businessman was moved by the story and later reached out to him, inviting him to come and pick up a vehicle.
To his surprise, Stonebwoy said he was presented with the keys to a brand-new Land Cruiser V8 at no cost.
“I have never met him before in my life. Under 72 hours,” he said, describing the experience.
The artiste noted that the gesture was the first time he had received a car as a gift, adding that the moment was both emotional and significant.
He further indicated that the experience reinforced his belief that opportunities and support can emerge from unexpected places.
