Leo Radvinsky, the billionaire behind adult subscription platform OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43 after battling cancer.
A spokesperson for the company confirmed his passing, describing the development as a significant loss.
“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer,” the spokesperson said. “His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”
Radvinsky, a Ukrainian-American businessman, built a fortune estimated at $4.7 billion, driven largely by his stake in Fenix International Limited, the firm that owns OnlyFans.
He served as director and majority shareholder, playing a central role in transforming the platform into one of the most lucrative digital subscription services globally.
After acquiring OnlyFans in 2018 from the Stokely family in the United Kingdom, Radvinsky oversaw a period of rapid growth, with the platform expanding its global user base and revenue streams.
By 2024, users had spent a record $7.2 billion on the platform, underlining its commercial success. Financial disclosures also showed that Radvinsky paid himself $1.8 billion in dividends between 2021 and 2025, according to Bloomberg.
Despite its profitability, reports indicate he had explored selling the platform last year. However, efforts to secure a buyer proved difficult, with potential investors reportedly deterred by the site’s adult content model.
Radvinsky was also known for his work as a philanthropist and angel investor, supporting a range of ventures beyond the tech and entertainment space.
