Young Commons Forum Summit: Afenyo-Markin calls on students to embrace leadership and civic engagement

Alexander Afenyo-Markin encouraged students at the University of Cape Coast to actively engage in leadership and policy discourse.

During the Young Commons Forum Summit, he emphasised the importance of leadership as a cultivated skill rather than an accidental occurrence.

He praised the YCF for organising dialogues, policy conversations, mental health sessions, and leadership engagement opportunities, urging students to interact constructively with policymakers and professionals.

The MP underscored that the future of Ghana lies with the youth and highlighted the critical role of student leadership in shaping national development, governance, and civic responsibility.
