PLAYBACK: Panel talks under way at APD on making AfCFTA work for women, youth

Panel discussions are under way at the Africa Prosperity Dialogues (APD) 2026 in Accra, with the first session focusing on how the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) can deliver tangible benefits for women and youth across the continent.

Moderators say the conversation at APD this yearwill move beyond policy frameworks to practical solutions that expand access to trade, finance and market opportunities for small businesses and young entrepreneurs.

The session marks the start of a series of discussions at this year’s APD dialogues aimed at accelerating Africa’s economic integration and shared prosperity.
