A Ghanaian content creator who describes himself as a prophet, Evans Eshun, popularly known as Ebo Noah, has been remanded in police custody by an Accra court.
The Adentan Circuit Court ordered that Mr Eshun be held for two weeks and directed that he undergo a psychiatric assessment at the Pantang Psychiatric Hospital before further proceedings.
The court adjourned the case, saying the assessment would help determine the next steps in the trial.
Mr Eshun is expected to return to court after the evaluation is completed, at which point the case will continue.
No plea was taken.
