Ghanaian entrepreneur and digital creator Princess Burland recently attended the London edition of the Women of Valour event, helping amplify its message of empowerment to audiences in Ghana.
Women of Valour is an empowerment initiative founded by Ghanaian media personality Nana Aba Anamoah. The event has been held successfully in Ghana in previous years, bringing together women from different industries to share experiences, inspire one another and celebrate resilience and leadership.
This year, the initiative expanded internationally with a special edition in London, creating an opportunity to connect with women in the diaspora while continuing to spotlight African excellence.
Princess Burland was among the invited influencers tasked with documenting and sharing the experience with audiences in Ghana, helping to extend the reach and impact of the event beyond the physical venue.
A serial entrepreneur, Burland is the founder of Diya Organics, a natural hair-care brand focused on healthy hair solutions, as well as Diya Studio, a beauty and braiding studio. She is also developing Diya Beauty Supply, a retail platform aimed at providing authentic beauty and hair products in Ghana.
Through her digital content and storytelling, Burland shared highlights from the London event, giving her audience a glimpse of the programme and helping showcase its mission of empowering women across borders.
The event also served as a reminder of the importance of creating spaces where women can learn from one another, build meaningful connections and support the next generation of female leaders.
As she continues to grow her businesses and platform internationally, Burland says she remains committed to supporting initiatives that celebrate Ghanaian excellence and empower women globally.
