Asaase Broadcasting Company Ltd is hosting a Black History Month summit in Accra today (27 February), bringing together scholars, cultural leaders and members of Ghana’s diaspora to discuss African heritage, identity and global connections.
The event, billed as a “Summit and Night of Legacy,” is being held at the W. E. B. Du Bois Memorial Centre for Pan-African Culture and features lectures, panel discussions and cultural performances.
Speakers include Angela L. Harris, Kofi Okyere Darko and Delia Cook Gillis, alongside Ghanaian academics and creatives.
Organisers say the programme aims to deepen conversations on Pan-Africanism, history and the role of the diaspora in Africa’s development.
The summit is being streamed live.
